The club has worked to maintain a positive image of disc sports in and around Madison, has helped to maintain and install other courses in the area, has ran an annual picnic and membership drive each fall and has assisted with the annual Mad City Open disc golf tournament. In 2013 the club changed its name from Madison Area Disc Club to Mad City Disc Golf. People interested in joining the club can get more information at the clubs website .
